Great food for a bar and decent drinks. However, one member of our party didn't receive his meal- the kitchen just forgot to make it. The mojito was one of the worst I've ever had, yet their beer list was decent. Overall, it's a cute little place and recommended for a quick, cheap, and good meal.

The service here was quick and friendly, the best we have had on our trip to Green Lake. Amber was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the New York strip was tender and juicy and the chef's Mac and cheese was delicious. Prices were good for the quality as well. Highly recommend

The GB is me and my gal pals go-to bar in Green Lake. The bartenders are friendly, food is tasty and the ambience is casual and fun! Whether you're looking for a local spot to catch a game, grab some lunch or enjoy a night out with your pals, the Goose is the best spot in town. Here's why: - Tomato basil soup with bacon and blue cheese - Ski shots - Local beer (Spotted Cow, what what!) - i-touch juke box - The claw carnival game (full of creepy stuffed animals) - Summer slammer cocktails - Yummy flatbreads - Upstairs dance floor Obviously all the makings for a great time! Now add the lovely staff on top of that and you've got the making of your new "regular" GL spot! Sadly I only frequent the area about 4 times a year, but if I was a Green Lake resident I'd surely be a regular at Goose Blind :)

We had a good experience. Everyone's food was very good. Prime Rib sandwich, fish tacos and mac n cheese all very tasty and plenty of it. Good service experience also.

Decent beer menu that featured both national-chain and Wisconsin micro-brew options. Good burgers and prices. I liked that sweet potato fries were an upgrade option. Decor/ambiance could use a little work. So dark in there for dinner!

I've been going to Green Lake as long as the dinosaurs still roamed the earth...or if you have to know....since I was 7. We've have had a cottage there for the last 22 years. During those 22 years, Goose Blind has been an anchor spot for the downtown area. The food is decent sandwich and bar type food....and the pizza is supposed to be the best around. Great place for casual family dining and very kid friendly. The late night crowd, during the summer high season, is younger... so you oldsters may want to head home if you like a quiet evening. A GREAT place to hang out and watch a sporting event! They do have live music occasionally and draw from a great pool of local talent. Goose Blind also has a couple street dances during the summer, which are true Wisconsin fun!

Fast and courteous customer service. We do not drink but they have a good selection of brews (being pregnant, cannot exactly indulge lol). My husband had the jalapeno creamy cheese soup and it has a kick but was pretty good. He ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, a bit on the watery side, but still good. I ordered their macaroni and cheese with bacon, very good! Both dinners came with a fresh, warm bread stick. If I were to come back, I would love to watch a game and have a beer :).

I came here with my parents and was really quite pleased with everything! Food is nothing fancy but great when you want a casual meal w family or friends. The pretzal cheese curds were amazing as an appetizer and then I had the portabella sandwich for dinner. It is nice that they have some vegetarian options. The decor is very Wisconsin but it's cute and festive. Definitely would like to come back :)

Not a bad place for drinking some burgers and a regular bar food. Don't ever go for the fish fry though it's not good

Great service, cheerful waitress, pretty good pizza, excellent burgers, Mac n cheese was cheesy and awesome. Prices slightly on the high side, but par for bar food these days. $82 for 4 people with sodas and a few beers. Good craft beer selection, but would have liked to see more porters and stouts. Clean.

Visiting Green Lake and needed someplace for dinner. Read the reviews and picked this place. Wait staff very friendly and the pulled pork sandwich was very good. Would eat there again.

Excellent family restaurant. Clean, great service. Good food, I had the chicken chili soup and was very good. Taco salad was a hit. Turkey burger was tasty. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Was looking for a local place that had great food and the Goose Blind did not blindside us. Had a nice lunch with solid service. Diverse menu, lots of choices. The Pizza was great. Will go back if I am ever back in-town

Little to no service. Definitely don't expect service with a smile. Waited at least 20 minutes with no one even taking a drink order. Finally we walked out so cannot vouch for the food quality. It was not even busy so cannot explain the lack of service.

Four of us traveled to Green Lake, last weekend, for a nice weekend away. Unfortunately, most places failed us, either with poor service and/or bad food. The Goose Blind, however, was a pleasant surprise. We stopped here 3 seperate times over the course of a weekend. The food is what you would expect - solid bar food. The service is super friendly, with the exception of one loud-mouth server. Mitch, the bartender was great. We also had another great bartender on Saturday night that was awesome, as well. We'll definitely be stopping in, on our next trip.

Good bar! Nice party place! I give it 4 stars because of ambiance, space, booze quality, and cute bartenders. We (including the previous yelper) were in town for a good friends August wedding at the Heidel House. The night before the rehearsal dinner we headed out for the brides birthday celebration. We drank, ate popcorn, sat out in the back covered patio. The clientele that Thursday night was a rowdy bunch of golfers, ready to flirt and talk to the pretty youngens. I had heard the Goose Blind was a great place for shots, and the reports were true! By the end of the long weekend, I had completed the shot card and got the XXL T-shirt, I now often sleep in. The food we ate, the next night, upstairs at the rehearsal dinner, was mediocre. Just pizza and salads. The beer was flowing and we had a private bar tender. When we went downstairs to work on our shot cards, we waited like 20 minutes at the bar. It was hopping, but when I hold cash in my hands, in your face, and you work for a tip.....you'd better serve me. I stomped off like a spazz, skipping shots for like an hour....then I got over it and came back.

My best friend is getting married in Green Lake this summer, so we went up to meet with a few vendors and check out a few things. We spent some time at The Goose Blind, because the rehearsal dinner will be held there. We did not eat here, but word on the street says it's good. I'll find out myself in August. We were there to drink, and celebrate the weekend, and we were not disappointed. We had a blast, bartenders were quick, helpful & friendly, and there was a great atmosphere. The Bride-to-be and I started the Shot Challenge....drink 12 shots, free t-shirt. Good variety on the list, and they've got fun names. Bathrooms were very clean, which is always a good sign, especially on a busy Saturday night. I'm looking forward to going back to Green Lake & The Goose Blind, fantastic place.

Food is good and I like their selection of craft beers. Restaurant / Bar clean, great Wisconsin tavern-like atmosphere / decor, and fair prices. Been there many times and will use again

Food was decent. The pesto pizza was excellent, but the onion strings were greasy, and not that good. Service was adequate, but a little slow, and it wasn't very busy. There were lots of families there, so it seems a good place to take the kids.
